The IDMAs are in, and once again Joel is among the nominees. This year, after 12 months of extensive international touring in 2011, deadmau5 is up for Best North American and Best Global DJ. His label mau5trap is also up for its first IDMA nomination; having been put forward for Best Global Record Label, a timely gesture as it currently enjoys iTunes and beatport chart success with Moguai’s “Mpire” album. The bill will also include sets by Chris Lake and Michael Woods, but given that this show will be taking place on the same night as the 54th Annual Grammy Awards, there’s some possibility that other stars may turn up, either on stage or in the audience.
