It has been a special weekend for Joel; his supporters voted him beatport Community Choice Artist of the Year, and his imprint mau5trap, hit legal download numbers that secured Animal Rights ‘Best Electro House Track’ and Skrillex’s Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites ‘Best Dubstep Track’.

Back home in Toronto, Canada also honoured his production Sofi Needs A Ladder with the Juno Dance Recording of the Year.
