Last night Joel and Nokia created one of the biggest product launches London has ever seen. The streets facing Millbank Tower on both the North and South side of the Thames filled with spectators, and at 9pm GMT it all began. As you may have read on deadmau5′ Facebook, there were a few issues on the night, but now it’s all over, sit back and enjoy a brief sample of some of the most stunning audio / visuals to hit London’s skyline.
This one-off event on Monday, 28th November will see deadmau5 perform in front of London’s iconic Millbank Tower to a backdrop of spectacular 3D projections on the full length of the 120 metre building! The show will be streamed in full at 9pm GMT / 4pm EST / 1pm PST at live.deadmau5.com. For everyone in London, the show is free for all and anyone is welcome to come down – you’ll see and hear everything from both the north and south banks of the Thames.
On December 1st, deadmau5 hits South Africa for three epic shows, kicking off at the CTICC, moving onto Durban’s Wavehouse, and completing the tour at H20-Wild Waters, Johannesburg. Tickets can be found here. From Joel’s Facebook page… “here you go south africa! everything you need to know right here.”
Noisia ‘Could This Be’ is out now exclusively at beatport. Click here to download the release. “Feed Me described it as the emo younger brother of Shellshock, I think thats a great characterization. Were really proud of the balance of melodical and harmonic content on one hand and dancefloor-energy on the other hand weve struck in this track. I have a feeling that this track is an indication of where were going to go.” – Noisia
To celebrate the launch the Nokia Lumia 800, Joel will be playing an exclusive 30-minute set on the roof of Millbank Tower in Central London, UK on the 28th of November. To find out how you can attend or catch the live stream, visit the Nokia UK Facebook page.
