After a sell out tour, chart bothering hits and general world domination, deadmau5 returns home to mau5trap with the ubiquitous anthem that is Strobe.
Strobe has quickly become a crowd favourite at deadmau5’s live shows, and its easy to see why, with twinkling synths, deadmau5’s trademark lush pads and a build up to dies for, you know those hands are only headed to the air. We have also cut it into 3 different edits (Radio, Club and Full Length), because we’re nice like that.
Michael Woods takes things deeper into dance floor territory, stripping the track back to create a heavy Tech House monster. He toughens up the drums and adds a new rolling bass, while keeping the twinkling synths for that all-important build up.
The Plump DJs bring the breaks, as only they can. As you would this mix is all about the phat breaks and modulating bass, while taking the original synth lines a twisting them into new shapes and sounds.
Finally we have DJ Marky & S.P.Y., who turn in a Liquid D’nB roller of epic proportion. Half time drums, nasty bass and filters galore will surley keep the stepaz amongst you happy.
